“Seeing ThunderDrome: The Moto-Globe of Death that opens Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars is worth the price of admission all by itself,” said DeLand, Florida attorney Frank Wren. “My jaw literally dropped when the Globe split in two, with riders circling each half!”

Members of the Circus Fans Association of America agree that the new edition of Cole Bros. Circus is nothing short of awesome. Dan McGinnis, who traveled from Dalton, Massachusetts to witness the show’s debut, told circus owner John Pugh, “You’ve got a winner!” In particular, McGinnis praised the talent of the show’s singing co-host, Alissandra Majzler, whose heart-felt rendition of the National Anthem stirred the audience and set the tone for the remarkable circus that followed. Fans lauded animal trainer Will Jacobs, who stands in the shadows while his elephants take the spotlight, the Kim Brothers, who juggle on horseback, and the Abuhadba family, who present pastel-hued poodles that arrive in a hot-pink, mini-Bentley.

From the moment rehearsals began, circus cast members felt excited about the performance. According to Lyuba Kim, who directs Cole Bros. equestrian presentations, “Everything just clicked, right away. The show has so many huge, aerial acts, with lots of rigging and heavy props, yet the pace of the show is so fast. Even my horse is energized, because he gets to lead the big circus parade that closes the first part of the show!

“Seeing is believing,” pronounced Circus V.P. Renee Storey. “When we looked at the show line-up on paper, we thought it looked good, but the proof is in the actual performance. Our talented artists present all that you could hope for in a circus, from animals to acrobats to flying trapeze. The Bermudez clowns are truly funny, and we have incredible daredevils performing in ThunderDrome and as The Human Cannonball. Cole Bros. breathtaking, aerial ballet features three, amazing acts—twin chiffons, straps and swinging trapeze, each of which deserves to be in the center ring. We’re extremely proud to bring Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars on tour this year.”
